GoinGreen

Attention to environmental protection and pollution reduction is an issue of global concern. The Planet’s resources are not unlimited, so they must be conserved carefully, without waste, respecting ecosystems and biodiversity. This awareness leads to the need to also make economic growth increasingly sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Ghibli & Wirbel strives daily and concretely to become an increasingly sustainable company.

This important change is represented and conveyed by the new GoinGreen symbol. Indeed, the company has embarked on a path toward sustainability that will be increasingly enriched by projects related to this theme in the coming years.

In this new symbol, the colors of the institutional logo, yellow and blue, icons of Ghibli & Wirbel quality and reliability, merge together to give life to the color green, an emblem of the initiatives undertaken to protect the environment. The pinwheel, on the other hand, represents the future and expresses a fundamental concept: it is time to take action to ensure a better tomorrow for the next generations.

In the recent years, Ghibli & Wirbel’s green activities have been various. These efforts and investments have brought to excellent results that contribute to increase the corporate sustainability.

Ghibli & Wirbel has achieved an important result: to introduce the use of recycled plastic in the production of its professional cleaning machines and to make sustainable products without sacrificing the quality that has always distinguished G&W products.

CLEAN ENERGY

3600 m² of solar panel were installed on the plant at the operational and administrative headquarters in Dorno. The photovoltaic system produces up to 750 Kwp, allowing a reduction of 450 tons of CO2 per year.

EVERY DROP MATTERS

For many years, Ghibli & Wirbel has been using a recovery system for water used during product testing, which saves 230 liters of water per day.
An additional water recirculation system has recently been installed, allowing a total daily saving of 880 liters of water.
